My Approach

*Due to COVID-19 concerns I am currently only providing individual therapy services via Telehealth. I currently have limited availability. You can reach out to me via email to check if I am taking on new Clients and availability options.

I have over ten years of experience in behavioral health and have a passion for helping individuals in need of guidance and support. I have previous experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in hospital settings and mental health community agency settings. I currently only work with adults and prefer to work with Women who are in search of empowerment, support, and overall guidance.

Areas of treatment include but are not limited to; anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self esteem issues, identity conflict, Latinx concerns, first generation acculturation conflict,  intergenerational trauma,  and vicarious trauma (for psychotherapists and caregivers)  I specialize in working with Women's issues and use a women's empowerment framework.

I identify my therapeutic approach as eclectic utilizing different theories and interventions that include; cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, art therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, bibliotherapy, brain spotting, yoga components, meditation and reiki. I am a Level II Certified Brainspotting practitioner. I am also a Level II Reiki practitioner. I have completed the 48 hour Domestic Violence training.

My approach to the psychotherapeutic relationship is to be compassionate and non-judgemental. I identify as having a calming presence and encourage self-love in order to begin the healing process.
